Grand operates a modern salmon processing facility in Gdynia, Poland, purpose-built for efficient, large-scale handling of premium salmon products. The facility combines long-standing processing expertise with up-to-date production lines designed for fillets, portions, and value-added salmon products.

The plant is strategically located close to key logistics infrastructure, including customs offices, container terminals, and international transport routes. This allows for fast clearance of raw materials and efficient distribution across Europe, the United States, and global markets. Proximity to port and airport infrastructure supports reliable lead times and flexible logistics solutions.

Facility Capabilities

Grand’s processing facility in Gdynia is designed for efficient handling of fresh and frozen salmon across multiple product categories. The plant is equipped to produce salmon fillets in all trim levels, as well as portion-controlled products in a wide range of weights, supplied fresh or frozen depending on customer requirements.

The facility has a processing capacity of up to 19 tons of fresh salmon per shift, supported by integrated chilling, freezing, and storage infrastructure. Rapid freezing is handled through blast freezing at temperatures down to –30 °C, ensuring product quality and shelf life.

On-site storage includes:

Chilled storage capacity of approximately 100 tons

Frozen storage capacity of approximately 500 tons

All production is carried out under internationally recognized food safety and quality standards, including IFS, FDA, BIO, and Kosher certification, with full traceability throughout the value chain. The combination of production scale, storage capacity, and strategic location enables Grand to support stable volumes, flexible order structures, and dependable delivery year-round.
